The Village DPW will pick up brush during the spring and summer months as follows:
Note – For weekly yard waste pick up, be sure the yard waste in put in a large trash bag or yard waste bag and placed at the curb away from your garbage cart. Thank you.

A. OVERVIEW
It is the intent of the Village’s brush service to provide residents with a reasonable means of disposing of tree material that has grown on the property and results from yard maintenance.
B. BRUSH COLLECTED FROM CURB
Brush is collected from the curb on the second and fourth Monday of each monthly (subject to Village emergencies and scheduling conflicts with other projects and the further right to reschedule the same), provided materials meet preparation requirements.
C. BRUSH SPECIFICATIONS
Smaller brush, 5 inches in diameter or less, and less than 8 feet in length must be places neatly stacked at the curb in piles no higher than 3 feet high with a three-foot separation between piles and at least three feet away from other collection items (including other yard waste) and obstacles such as, other trees, mailboxes, phone poles and vehicles, etc.
D. DO NOT BLOCK THE SIDEWALK.
E. BRANCHES STACKED
Branches must be neatly stacked on your curb. Logs and tree stumps that do not meet these requirements will not be collected.
F. TIME BY WHICH TO PLACE BRUSH AT THE CURB
Place brush at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on scheduled collection days.
G. BRUSH PICK UP AFTER A SEVERE STORM
Brush will be picked up as needed in the event of a severe storm.
H. THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT INCLUDED/INELIGIBLE FOR PICKUP
The following are NOT INCLUDED: Brush and limb waste generated from work by a contractor/tree trimmer, total tree removal by either the resident or a private firm, logs stumps or roots, unless they meet the size and placing requirements. You or your contractor must remove the yard waste from your home after work is completed.
